The Government Inspector

When a young, broke and down on his luck civil servant is mistaken for a high-ranking Government Inspector mayhem ensues. The town’s Governor and Officials work frantically to cover up their corrupt and scandalous ways whilst the imposter takes full advantage of the situation.

This ‘One Night Only’ charity performance has been updated from the original Russian play by Nikolai Gogol and performed by the members of Faust International Youth Theatre’s teenage Stage Group. Proceeds from tonight’s performance will be donated to Crossroads International, a Hong Kong based charity that distributes Hong Kong’s quality excess goods as needed, internationally and locally.
