The Beautiful Ones

December 11-19, 8:15pm and 3:15pm matinees on weekends

A Cutting Edge Theatrical Experience! The performance is based on the 'Mouse Utopia' experiment by John Calhoun in 1960s. Through the landscape of the real city as well as the theatre, we explore the relationship between our urban living space and humanity's 'behavioural sink.'

Audience members will have to bring their own smartphone and a pair of headphones for the first part of the show (iOS 8.0 or above / Android 4.0 or above).

Some parts of the performance require walking and standing.

The first half of the show (the audio guide/app) is available in Cantonese, English and Putonghua.  The second half of the show, performed in We Draman black box, is in Cantonese only with no translation provided.

Life in Hong Kong

July 23- August 8, 8pm (Tuesday-Saturday only)

Following the director Tang Wai-kit’s lead, six young performers will use their bodies to transcend the shackles of verbal expression. This mime show is inspired by the everyday experiences in Hong Kong, and from the most ordinary aspects develops a rhapsody about living in this city. Their performance bears much more than the humorous representation of different faces of Hong Kong; it aims at seeking the resonance among our generations, and provoking the audience to reflect upon their own life in Hong Kong.
