A Grand Night for Singing is a romantic and family friendly musical revue showcasing the music of Richard Rodgers and lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein II to explore the various stages of love, beginning with the dawning of romance- young infatuation and the awakenings of real love.

The revue features popular songs from Allegro, Me and Juliet, State Fair, Pipe Dream, Flower Drum Song, Carousel, Oklahoma!, The King and I, South Pacific, Cinderella and The Sound of Music.

Formed in 2010, the Island Express Jazz Orchestra specializes in large ensemble arrangements by modern jazz composers.

Timing... IS everything, especially if you happen to be three chimps locked in a room for infinity with nothing but bananas, cigarettes and typewriters and were expected to churn out “Hamlet”, or if you’re a guy trying to pick up a pretty girl reading alone at a cafe and with every wrong thing you say a bell rings and destiny makes you start over.  It’s ALL in the timing.  CSR Theatre Company presents David Ives’s “All in the Timing” and Paul Johnson’s “A Minor Case of Murder”, two comedic pieces that explore timing, love, existentialism and wordplay.

David Ives first presented the original “All in the Timing” Off-Broadway in 1994, in a show that included six very different comedy shorts.  In a 2013 revival, he added eight extra scenes.  CSR will present the original six, which are all unique but share the underlying theme of timing and love.  
Making its Hong Kong debut in this double bill with “All in the Timing” is Paul Johnson’s “A Minor Case of Murder”, an original and hysterical piece that asks the question, “Does my story fit the evidence presented here?”

The show also features original music from Mary Jane Alejo, Graeme Morris and Roald Blijleven.

An original play written by American director Kate March, Love Pings is the story of one woman’s adventure with 7 men as she tries to find a meaningful connection through the ever-fuzzy world of text messaging, WhatsApp, Facebook, email, Skype, phone calls, and occasional live meet ups. Are any of the pings from her phone signalling real love or is it all just illusion?

Set in a North Korean textile factory, Vinalon explores its workers' preparation for a visit by the 'Dear Successor', complicated by the advent of a young woman from the countryside with a questionable past...

Based on the real-life industry that produces the homegrown 'miracle fabric' of synthetic vinalon, this two act six-hander brings up the curtain on life and love in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as imagined by playwright Rob McBride.

The Basic Notes Jazz Big Band was founded in 1993 by a group of Hong Kong amateurs who were enthusiastic about jazz music.

OutLoud presents a mixed bag of original poetry, classics, lesser-known works and music. The format generally consists of a number of featured readers, plus an open mike section in which audience-members are welcomed and encouraged to read.

Saturday Night Jazz Orcherstra, founded in 1990, comprises 20 musicians from almost as many nationalities - for whom it's 'all about swing'.
