Sleepy Sickness
September 21,22 - 8pm, 3pm matinee September 21 It is the perception of other people's worlds - the worlds that are inconceivably strange, and yet inhabited by people just like ourselves. Other worlds, other lives, even though so different from our own, have the power of arousing the sympathetic imagination, of awakening an intense and often creative resonance in others. Utopia
April 19-20, 8pm A declaration of principles in the form of Flamenco dance, born of the admiration the artist holds for the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. A humanist whom, at his 104 years of age, leaves the unmistakable sinuosity of his buildings to us as a legacy, as well as - above all - the integrity, commitment and solidarity that guide his life, that has become both an inspiration and a message. This is an emotional reflection on the yearning, the imagination and the instinct that human beings possess, empowering themselves to dream of living in a better future. |
