A narrated live music and film presentation of Brigg's classic Christmas story. 

Bizet's famed tale of rivalry, vengeance and fateful love - this production of Musica Viva brings together world-renowned singers and home-grown talents, including the chorus of the Opera Society of Hong Kong.

Join Hong Kong Sinfonietta in this popular lunchtime chamber concert series - bring your lunch to the concert and relax with Halvorsen (Passacaglia on a Theme by Handel), Haydn (Piano Trio no 39 in G 'Gypsy') and Dvorak (Piano Quartet No 2 in E-flat Op 87).

Jonathan Schiffman conducts the Sinfonietta in a concert featuring famous choruses from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Messiah and a selection of traditional Christmas carols, sung by SingFest Choral Academy & Festival Chorus (led by Patrick Chiu).

Programme also includes Mozart (Symphony no 35 in D 'Haffner'), Dvorak (Slavonic Dances Op 46 nos 1 & 8) and Strauss (Blue Danube Waltz Op314).

Virtuoso visiting pianist with principal conductor Yip Wing-Sie leading the Sinfonietta plays Saint-Saens (Concerto no 5 in F 'Egyptian').
