Sensational flamenco artists Rosana Romero and Adrián Santana under the direction of the internationally renowned choreographer Nina Corti team up with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong for a flamboyant and rhythmically charged evening of Spanish music and dance. Flamenco Classico will feature Boccherini’s Fandango, inspired by an intimate and provocative Spanish courtship dance with castanets, Shchedrin’s colourful adaptation of Bizet's Carmen for strings and percussion and Falla’s dramatic and brilliantly orchestrated El Amor Brujo. Led by chief conductor Jean Thorel, this feast for the ears and the eyes will be a world premiere.
