This is one of our favorite categories. It celebrates all the new people and new things in Hong Kong's art scene. We've had a really exciting past year and we think our nominees for Best New Comer reflects that.

Annabel Lam
Annabel took on the Hong Kong princess role in Aurora Theatre's Duetto. She was hilarious.

Hong Kong People's Fringe Festival
Started by Julia Mok, the HKPFF has artists from Hong Kong (and from other places) perform all over the city in all sorts of venues. Audience members can see a different performer every day ticket prices were 100hkd per show. Fabulous idea! It's coming back this fall.

David Janke
David was a performer in Aurora Theatre's Duetto. He had stated this was his first play he had done since Middle School. He was pretty good and we thought he very brave to go down to his undies.
