WELCOME!

Dear Artists and Audiences of Hong Kong,
HKELD.com is here - so prepare yourself to be HKELD!
Yes, we’re LIVE as from today with Hong Kong’s new specialist online webzine aimed at English speakers dedicated to promoting what’s on, what’s good and where things are in Hong Kong’s developing performing arts scene.
If you’re an artist and presenting a show in the next few months, please send us your press releases to editor@hkeld.com so we can list your production on our website – and check out our Use Us page for how else we can help you promote the show!
If you’re an audience member who loves going to events, we can help you choose what to see. In this tough economy, it pays to be informed before spending your money on the arts. We’ll be offering previews of productions, general interest articles on cultural events, interviews with local artists - plus an easy to use calendar to locate the event that’s right for you. Or wait to read our opening night review (posted within 24 hours) – check out here what shows we’re reviewing in September!
If you’re a parent or teacher we will also have resources on arts education in Hong Kong and Theatre for Youth production groups to help you make learning fun.
If you have any questions about us or our services please feel free to send them to us at editor@hkeld.com...
… but you might like first to listen to RTHK’S Phil Whelan asking some pretty pertinent questions of his own on yesterday’s Morning Brew.
One way or another, get ready to enjoy being HKELD!
