In the words of the Sinfonietta's first violin James Cuddeford: '“Mak Su-yin will provide the words, some semi-improvised, in these works involving narration. The texts range from the humorous, as in Alan Ridout’s charming 'Ferdinand the Bull', to the autobiographical depictions of the star signs in Stockhausen’s magical ‘Zodiac’.”
