Hong Kong Players have been staging Christmas pantos in the city for the past 54 years, and now present their 55th all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza: The Snow Queen – an icy tale of love and hate, good and evil, courage and cowardice  . . . and trolls.

The story is set on a beautiful sunny day in May, when lurve is in the air between our heroine Gerda and hero Kay. But, lo and behold, suddenly nice guy Kay turns completely HORRIBLE and then disappears! Could the evil Snow Queen be responsible? The fact that it is snowing in May could be a clue! Join Gerda, Dame Gloria Stampworth - the redoubtable village post-mistress - and their pals as they set out to rescue Kay and make the sun shine again.

A much-loved Christmas tradition, Hong Kong Players’ annual panto – kindly sponsored by AIA The Great European Carnival – is a festive show filled with songs, dances and jokes old and older. Fun for all the family aged 3 to 103.
