A critically acclaimed hot ticket at London’s Royal Court Theatre and subsequently in the West End, these three Beckett monologues feature one of the most astonishing performances you will ever experience.
Not I is set in total darkness, illuminated by one single beam of light. A disembodied female mouth floats above the stage and delivers a torrential stream of consciousness, spoken as Beckett directed, “at the speed of thought”.
Footfalls is a melancholic tale of burden and trauma; the story of May, a ghostly, middle-aged woman who paces back and forth on a bare landing outside her dying mother’s door.
Probably the most famous of Beckett’s late works, Rockaby explores loneliness and loss as a woman sits in her rocking chair recounting moments from her past.
