Verdi's famed tale of rivalry, vengeance and fateful love, Premiered in 1853 and set in medieval Spain, Il Trovatore tells the story of Manrico and his rival Count di Luna's love for the same woman Leonora. Directed by Lo Kingman and conducted by Lio Kuokman, this production of Musica Viva brings together world-renowned singers and home-grown talents, including the chorus of the Opera Society of Hong Kong.
