She asks: “PASSION… ROMANCE… HATE… TRUST… RESPONSIBILITY… NUMBNESS… DEATH… What is the beyond those words?”

She decodes René Magritte’s painting. The lovers describe their complicated feelings of love. In their own room, they are kissing with covered faces, while sharing their inner minds in a physical state. They touch, and yet they are separated. The faces behind the veils reveal the lovers’ hidden psychological state.

She, a theatre wanderer, takes off her hanbok, to untie the knot that bound “The Room and The Lovers”.

Don Yuan

Donald Yuan ( Don to his friends) has led a life of tearing through elite universities, fast cars and women (fast or otherwise). But this life has caught up with him and Don Yuan is in court. His past comes back to haunt him, in more ways than one. Three women who know him too well are witnesses for the prosecution. And that's just act one.

Don Juan returns in a new comedy liberally adapted from the 17th Century Spanish masterpiece "The Rogue Of Seville" (El Burlador De Sevilla) by Tirso de Molina, with some help from Italian librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte.

The world is shrinking, and time is running out for the weak, the downtrodden, the forgotten, the dispossessed and the marginalised. Preachers certainly have charisma, but they may not have all the answers, and anyway, they aren’t listening. Enter an array of tyrants, villains, ghosts, clowns, clergy, politicians, money men and their friends. A fascinating solo performance by Daniel Foley of Performance Exchange (last seen in Hong Kong in the very successful Performance Exchange production, The Elephant Man).
