‘Love alters not where it alteration finds…’ An African king seeks a princess for his son. A Chinese sociologist seeks a guide for her studies. Somewhere in the mythical kingdom of Zamunda, lovers’ eyes lock and cultures collide with timeless prejudice in this fast-moving specially commissioned modern day fairy tale, told to African rhythms with Chinese characteristics.

Occupy Central Clearance Has Begun11-12-14

Last night various art organizations worked hard to preserve and archive the art at Occupy Central and Occupy Causeway Bay. This morning we woke to post-it less walls and glitter bombed streets. We heard boys and girls shouting "We will be back!" with joy in their voices. They are not considering this a failure. It's a strategic retreat.

Brave Heart Theatre has opened two shows so far in the past couple months but they're not finished yet with their inaugural 2014 season. They're closing with a world premiere piece by Wing Man Lam - a local HK playwright getting her debut with a new theatre company in an alternative performance space, the Premium Sofa Club. Will Occupy Central Change the Way HK Views Art?6-10-14

Occupy Central's Admiralty location has a plethora of public art and audience interactive art on display. They vary from the Lennon wall, where people can put up Post-its answering the question "Why Are We Here?" to Billy Lau's project where he had over 60 different languages display "Support Democracy in Hong Kong". The people of HK can get involved in the art at Admiralty. The protests have a grassroots feel that has been absent from many of Hong Kong's public art displays in the past.
