David Olgilvie, Den of Thieves, Aurora Theatre
A British native, David took on the role of Little Tuna in Den of Thieves... and ate a lot donuts. We wonder how much weight he gained for the part?
David Allen, A Chorus Line, YAF
David Allen was a singular sensation in YAF's annual production. Every little step he took was captivating.
Brad Powers, Macbeth, Stylus Productions
Brad Powers won the Heckler last year for Best Director. We can see by his nomination for his bloody role in Stylus' Macbeth, that he is also a pretty phenomenal actor.
Alexander Wilkins, Bittergirl, Aurora Theatre
Alexander Wilkins has taken on many roles in the past year but he was nominated for a play where he had to play the romantic foil to three leading ladies and took his shirt off on stage. You go Alex!
Boaz Lo, The Taming of the Shrew, Shakespeare in the Port
Boaz was the sweet and charming, Lucentio in Shakespeare in the Port's The Taming of the Shrew. He was nervous, wide eyed, and completely girl crazy. Perfect for the part.
Joms Ortega, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, ACT
Joms Ortega has a wheel house in performing. He's excellent at playing children. He's charming, sweet and hilarious at playing those awkward moments from our youths.
