The Performers Studio are looking forward to their next big project, Don't Stop Believin'!, a brand new contemporary musical that will premiere in Hong Kong. Set in New York in the 1980s, the storyline focusses on a group of tough inner-city kids who use their local Community Center to escape from the streets, but their urban oasis is under attack.

Women, in particular, were depicted as ingenious, headstrong and bold – contrary to the gentle, motherly yet oppressed figures in history. For some, the existence of these ghostly women became their silent cry against patriarchy, while others saw an outlet for their fantasy.

The drama in education group is known to bring traditional ideas to the stage with a twist (as they did in one of their latest works, Hamelin). This time, the team looks forward to bringing one of the Bard's most famous works, and we are curious to know how director Vincent Warren deconstructed the initial idea and rebuilt it.
