Elton Ko is a local musician and a member of a reggae-blues fusion band in Hong Kong called 712. We met him and thought it was about time we featured a local musician in our AoM series. This month's artist of the month is Natalie Lund. Natalie is our first Artist of the Month to originate from South America. She's a very talented and stunning actress who has appeared in several local productions over the past few years. And may we mention... the girl can SING!!! She's currently starring as Brutus in The Tragedy of Miss Julius Caesar at Shakespeare in the Port.
Artist of the Month-April-Boaz Lo1-4-14
This month's Artist of the Month is Boaz Lo. Boaz is a multi-talented artist and drama teacher who has skills in both the technical and acting world. We became a fan of him at a young age when he was a student. Now, he's a full grown adult, working on shows, teaching his own students and helping change Hong Kong's cultural landscape. You can catch him this month at Shakespeare in the Port, Hong Kong's first outdoor Shakespeare festival. He's the production coordinator, a lighting technician and Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew. This month's artist of the month is Jingan Young. Miss Young is the first English language playwright to have their work debuted at the Hong Kong Arts Festival through the New Works Scheme.

This month's AoM is Lisa Frain. We've been wanting to feature the designers and technicians of Hong Kong in the AoM series for a while; Lisa was nominated for her work as a costume designer in town.

January's Artist of the Month is Maggie Blue O'Hara. You may have seen her at Freespace Fest last month. She's one of the dynamic duo that runs local theatre troupe, All Theatre Art Association. Known for their unique style and fusion of music and clowning techniques into their works; their shows are always super fun.

This month's AoM is Adam Walker. Mr. Walker has become a reoccurring face in the local theatre scene over the past couple of years. He was nominated by one of our readers for "Being one of the most talented people I've worked with and a person who is genuinely kind to all."
