Artist of the Month- May- Ryan Dawley1-5-15

Our Artist of the Month is Ryan Dawley. A local musical theatre performer and band front man who is taking stages by storm across the Kong. Ryan is a theatre artist with plenty of credentials including time on the stages of Korea and NYC before coming to HK. He spends his days as a theatre educator and nights entertaining us. This month's AoM is Nikil Inaya. A native Hong Kong kid he's recently appeared in several productions, including Thinner than Water and will appear this month as the villanous Edmund in Lear at Shakespeare in the Port. This month's AOM is Andy Chworowsky. Andy is well known as a public speaker, emcee, actor and jack of all trades who also treads the boards in Hong Kong. He is currently playing in Love Letters at Brave Heart Theatre through March 14th. Raised in Hong Kong but trained overseas, Andy is a great example of a "made in HK" talent.

Artist of the Month-February-Vanessa Noble1-2-15

Our Artist of the Month is Vanessa Noble, she was recently nominated by a member of the community and we can see why! She's only been in Hong Kong for a year but has been involved with a ton of projects that included working with Aurora Theatre, Mother Mattters, Shakespeare in the Port and she is currently the director of VDAY. VDAY is a global arts event that promotes awareness and raises funds for women's issues world-wide during the week of February 14th. Get to know Vanessa below! Artist of the Month-September-Harry Oram1-9-14

This month's Artist of the Month is Harry Oram. You might know Harry from several different places. He used to be a member of the critics panel when HKELD first opened, he's a model and has done several campaigns in Hong Kong, he's an experienced stage actor and won the Heckler for Best Supporting Actor last year and he's recently found his claim to fame in Hong Kong's film scene. We're so happy to see a person like Harry getting recognition for all his hard work. He's kind, dedicated to his craft and always professional. We see a star on the horizon and wish him all the best in his future projects.
