Artist of the Month- October- Rachel Smith18-8-16
Our artist of October is Canadian born artist and story-teller Rachel Smith. She was recently seen in Hong Kong Stories latest show "Off Balance", as well as on stage at The Hecklers to represent the active storytelling group she now coordinates. This month, Rachel talks us through her visual art experience and share her thoughts and process with us.

Prepare to laugh out loud when this bubbly lady is on stage! Dannie Higginbotham is one of the very few female professional comedians in town who not only can rock the stage anytime she has the chance to do so, but she actively contributed to the local scene by running a fun show.

Everyone in Hong Kong's art scene knows our AoM for this month. His name is Aaron Michelson. He's known for infectious smile and deep love for the art scene. This month's AOM is Jo Farrell. Jo is a celebrated photographer in Hong Kong. She is known for her work with women and captivating portraits of bound feet in China. Artist of the Month- December- Rex Ng2-12-15
This month's AOM is Rex Ng. He was nominated by one of our readers for his dedication and passion for Hong Kong's wonderful Opera scene. He is one of the founders of the Utopia Cantonese Opera Workshop and is also the first graduate of the Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts (Cantonese Opera) full time course at the HKAPA.

This month's AOM is Tom Tiding. Recently nominated for the Heart Award, Mr. Tiding is known for his work with Hong Kong Stories.
Artist of the Month- September- Henrik Hoeg1-9-15
This month's AOM is Henrik Hoeg. He's the master of ceremonies and a Heckler nominee for his heart behind the Peel Street Poets. A Third Culture kid raised in Hong Kong and true intellectual, he's also one of the kindest people you'll ever meet.

This month's AOM is Jeffrey Anello of the band, The Anello. (In case you couldn't guess.) The Anello is one of Hong Kong's hottest bands. They were recently nominated as Best Local Band by the HKELD readers. They will also be having a release for their new EP later this month.
